The size of the sensor is 5 × 5 mm. The charge distribution in the thickness direction of that area can be measured.
By making it an upper electrode with a heater, it becomes possible to measure by applying a temperature gradient to the sample.
In ST type detector, it is possible to warm the sample from above and below because it is possible to embed a heater in the bottom base electrode.
