The oil vapor filter is designed to remove oil vapor from the incoming gas stream. It will offer little or no protection from entrained liquid oil. Experience indicates that the life expectancy of the carbon filter media is in excess of one (1) year. However, the actual length of service will depend upon the actual flow rate and the concentration of the incoming oil vapor.

Maintenance:


1. Block the normal flow path.

2. Depressurize the filter housing.

3. Remove the drain plug from the bottom of the filter and drain the filter media.

4. Replace the drain plug.
5. Remove the fill plug from the top of the filter.
6. Fill with six (6) pounds of filter media (P/N D40152).
7. Replace fill plug.
8. Purge the filter with CO₂.
9. Place filter back into service.
