- The PE.fiberoptics MA500HD measurement system is hybrid versions of the PE.fiberoptics 500 series optical test systems that have been designed to be the most accurate and repeatable measurement systems available.
- The MA500HD uses an enhanced version of the Far Field Scanner found in the WS500MFD system. It has enhanced dynamic range and higher resolution scanning optics that allow the testing of the latest ultra-large effective area fibers.
- In addition, with the optional multimode source, the system is able to measure the Numerical Aperture(NA) of multi-mode fibers.
- The functionality of the included 'PEcon' software allows for automatic and sequential testing of all parameters with a single connection of the sample and a single button press.
