The smart multi-functional themisalpha index for diaphragm gas meters provides features, which go well beyond simple remote reading. The combination of existing options (time- and load-dependent tariffs, valve control, load profiles, communications interval control, data logging, etc.) enables the index to be adjusted to suit the needs of individual customers.

Temperature compensation

  • Supports mechanic and electronic temperature compensation

Data logging

  • Integrated data logging function records the delivered gas volume in combination with the actual time and according tariff (optional). 
  • The storage has a capacity for 60 weeks for half hourly values.

Switching of optional valves

  • Secure switching of valve (no opening in case of unsafe installation)
  • Local customer acknowledgement via button hold
  • Controlled opening and closing of the valve with remote feedback
  • 3000 cycles lifetime
