The Microtest 8751 harness cable test uses four-wire measurement for measuring cables; the conductor resistance accuracy is 10 times of the 8740. It can avoid resistance caused by connecting fixture cables, allowing conduction measurement to be more accurate.
The following functions were also improved for the 8751 when used with the 8740 machine according to user feedback: 1. The analysis for low conductor resistance test objects are even more accurate and the stability of the measurement values are higher. 2. The node parallel effect of the two cables 8740 was improved, so that it can analyze more complicated passive component network tables. 3. The meter mode was added to save the trouble of having to use an additional multi-meter when repairing test objects.
