BAM Fallhammer test is used to measure the sensitiveness of solid and liquids (or pasty substances) to drop-weight impact and is required in various standards like EN 13631-4 as well as UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, 13.4.2 Test 3(a)(ii) BAM Fallhammer and STANAG 4489. The Drop Hammer is used to determine the sensitivity to drop-weight impact of solids and liquid or pasty materials in accordance to the BAM Method within a wide range from 0.5 J to 100 J impact energy.
