- Volumetric flow rate of fluid at standard state can be calculated in NF740 flow computer using a temperature compensation equation.
- Mass flow rate can also be calculated by inputting temperature and volumetric flow rate. Thus, in NF740, mass flow rate can be measured with a comparatively low expense by adopting a volumetric flow meter or turbine flow meter together with a RTD (thermometer).
- As NF740 includes API/ASTM equation for normal oil products and LPG, it is properly used for arithmetic operation of each product.
