For level detection in powders and granulates with a minimum bulk density of 100 kg/m3
As an option, the FTE30 can be equipped with a warning lamp. This leaves one cable gland remaining.
Function
A rotary paddle is driven by an electric motor through a shaft. As a result of being covered by the product, the drive mechanism encounters mechanical resistance and the motor tilts. This movement operates a small microswitch.
Due to the mechanical nature of the system, service life is dependent on contamination and mechanical load.
Installation guidelines
For the most arduous installations as a low level alarm in high silos with a heavy product load. Use a mechanical means of protecting the rotary paddle (e.g. an angle section).
