For use in the inspection lab or in the manufacturing cell, Gleason Metrology Systems manual pitch diameter measurement systems provide reliable dimension over pins or balls measurements to verify actual tooth thickness (or space width) at the pitch diameter. A unique constant-pressure gaging system assures accuracy over the full range of the gage. Each system is equipped with a digital readout with data output port which can be linked to an SPC processor.
Setting masters are not required to setup external systems to measure components. Internal systems require only one certified, smooth ring for initial setup.
