Probe Multiplexer 861.1 Automess

The Probe Multiplexer 861.1 allows to connect up to 10 probes to one 6150AD. The 6150AD is placed on and connected to the Probe Multiplexer, and the probes are connected to the Probe Multiplexer through standard Probe Cables. The Probe Multiplexer can connect any of the 10 probe channels to the 6150AD just like if the respective probe would have been connected directly to the 6150AD.

From this follows that the up to 10 probe channels cannot be selected simultaneously, but one probe after the other according to a time slice method. Since you have to allow for a measuring period per channel of several seconds at least, the Probe Multiplexer is only suited to monitor different places where rapidly changing dose rates are not to be expected.


A PC connected to the Probe Multiplexer's serial RS232 interface can select the probes and read their dose rates. This allows to monitor a total of 11 channels (the 6150AD itself and 10 probes). A standard PC software providing graphic representation of the channels is included in the delivery.
