At the start of each day of use, a positive Automatic Daily Self Test result gives confirmation to the operator that the product is working at the optimum level.
The result of this test is recorded and stored on memory within the products in-built data files and can be downloaded onto a PC at any time within the following 12 months*.
These Test results can be used to produce a Product Validation Certificate using the C.Scope PC Toolkit. The PC Toolkit can also generate the original factory Calibration Certificate and the results of any Self Test that it has carried out in the last twelve months*.
C.Scope has a network of authorised Service Centres that are also able to provide third-party Test and Calibration Certification should you require it to comply with client or internal requirements.
If a product requires attention for any reason, the ADST will alert the operator, and the product should be sent to an authorised C.Scope Service Centre that can service, test and check the locators. This protects the operator from unknowingly using a faulty safety product.
C.Scope’s ADST ensures that the products are fully functional BEFORE USE each and every day that a product is in use. Because it is a ‘daily’ check, this is an advantage over products that are only ’tested’ annually at the time of a service. It is also an advantage over products that rely on daily manual function checks because there is no guarantee that such checks are carried out thoroughly or indeed carried out at all in some cases. The XL4 Locators and the SGV4 Signal Generator and MXT4 Transmitter carry out a test on every single day of use and the result is available for up to 12 months* afterwards.
