We are happy to announce a new aluminum foil crucible as an option for the TGA701. The new crucibles are intended to support moisture or other lower temperature (<500 °C) applications for the TGA701. These new aluminum foil crucibles are disposable, and can replace traditional ceramic crucibles (used with or without aluminum foil liners).
Advantages of the new disposable aluminum foil crucibles include:
Improved throughput and productivity of the TGA701 by eliminating the cleaning process required by ceramic crucibles
Lower in cost compared to aluminum foil liners
Larger opening at top (compared to ceramic crucibles with or without the aluminum foil liner), eases the sample weighing process and increases the exposed sample surface area
