C. DATA SORTING
First Order by
First order is useful for arranging a large number of materials.
Second Order by
Here you can enter a field (Number, Unit, C, CaO, etc.) that would ordinarily appear in the left column of your search results chart, or leave it blank. If you type 'CaO' (for example) then only materials with CaO content will be displayed, and those materials will be listed in descending order by their CaO content. You can choose to view your results first, then hit your browser back button to refine your criteria.

D. ITEMS ONLY AVAILABLE IN SETS
Note: This option has no effect when searching XRF Sets.

E. CHEMICAL REQUIREMENTS
   For each element you would like to use in your search, enter the element and at least one of the corresponding values (you can enter a minimum of 0.0 to search for all samples containing your requirement.) For optimized results select "All Types" from your material base choice in section 1 above and start using only the most important elements with slightly broader ranges than your requirements.
   When searching for concentrations that overlap 10% (such as 8-12%,) the database may not return the desired results. One search should be done for 7.999-9.999% and another for 10.0-12.1% to correct the situation.
   Similarly, when searching for elements that overlap a multiple of 10% (such as 27% - 32%), the database may not return the desired results. One search should be done for 26.999-29.999% and another for 30.0-32.1 to correct the situation.
