- Each ID sensor contains a transponder in which its type and serial number as well as the date and result of the last calibration are stored.
- The exchange of this data between the ID sensor and the ID meter (SI Analytics Lab 870, Lab 970 and complete ProLab series) is fully automatic .
- The ID sensors thus always transmit their own individual data to the ID device. This increases the safety and comfort enormously . An ID device can have multiple ID sensors or an ID sensor that can be used on multiple devices with detection without having to be calibrated each time it is replaced.
- The calibration data are updated in the ID sensor for each new calibration . On the next measurement, the ID device accesses these new data.
- The report of calibrations and measurements resulting from the use of ID sensors and ID devices in addition to the date, time and the measured values also on type and serial number of the electrode .
