- Measuring methods - ARC, TDR, ICE, Decay;
- Distance-finding range to cable damage place, m, – from 3 to 15300 *;
- Measurement resolution, m, – 0.2.
* at the request of the customer modification is possible with a distance of up to 35 km
- Parameters of high voltage monitoring pulses at a load of 30 Ohm:
+ range, kV, – from 3 to 25;
+ acceleration time, µs, max., – 0.15;
+ pulse duration, µs, max., – 2.
- Parameters of low-voltage monitoring pulses at a load of 30 Ohm:
+ range, V, min., – 5;
+ acceleration time, µs, max., – 0.02;
+ pulse duration, µs, – 0.05-10.
- Maximum operating voltage of the pulse voltage sensor, kV, – 60.
- Measurement error of the distance to the damage place at high voltage depends on the measurement mode and on the breakdown voltage of the damaged section.
- When measuring the distance at high voltage in “floating breakdown”, idling, and short-circuit modes, the error ranges from + 15 to + 25 meters at a distance of approx. 1 km, and from + 20 to + 40 meters at a distance of above 1 km.
