Mobile Gas Meter GM-1 is designed to work in all types of mine railways (floor-mounted rail, monorail, diesel-locomotive, battery-powered), longwall shearers, roadheaders and all the other moving machines used in mines. It is designed for continuous operation. 

MPS-1R has autonomous power supply (battery), which can supplies methane detector for minimum 30 hours. The loading of methane detector can be done by loader type MPS-1Ł only out of hazard area. In explosion hazard areas MPS-1, MPS-1i can be supply by suitable intrinsically safe feeder. This feeder supplies electronics of methane detector and loads battery.The sensor can be set to two alarm thresholds PA1 and PA2. Exceeding PA1 switches the alarm signaling, PA2 switches warning signaling. Sensor has two outputs (UW1, UW2) to control external devices in the case of exceeding of permissible alarm thresholds.
