The "Canneed ABT-100 Burst Buckling Tester for Aerosol Cans " is used to determine the buckle value of bottom (dome) and Top end of aerosol cans and the pressure at which the can bursts. With the special designed clamp, it is able to measure the dome or bottom free ends independently. At high pressures from approximately 22 - 28 bar, it may happen that deformations of the valve and a higher burst pressure.
The operation is simple fill the sample with water, place the sample close to the chuck, the cans (which the material is iron) will automatically stick to the chuck, use the air cylinder to clamp the sample, then close the door, start the testing by control handle. The pressure will increase gradually, when the pressure exceeded the max. pressure resistance of the cans, the end and bottom (doom) buckled, at this time, the indicator will stop for a short while, and the value showed is the buckle value. When the pressure continue increasing, the can bursts, the indicator of pressure gauge will quickly zeroized, and now the value showed is the burst value of the can. One test for two testing result.
