For fast, convenient and accurate determination of the thread density of woven fabrics and loop density of knitted fabrics. It works with moving test specimens allowing thread density measurements taken directly at production machine or loom. Handy size and ability to determine extremely high thread densities makes it a state-of-the-art alternative to the traditional pick glass or other more cumbersome electronic counting systems.
Measuring range (mm or in) is from 8-300 threads/cm (20-750 threads/in) divided in 17 subranges aproximately 1:1.5 wide. Test length is 29mm (1.1in). Includes calibration check plate and RS232 data port. Optional stand available.
