Ringshear principle. In the sensor the piezo-element and an internal mass forms a spring-mass damping system
When this system is subjected to vibrations, an electrical charge proportional to the vibration
acceleration is produced.
An integrated amplifier converts this charge signal into a usable voltage signal.
